Zebra Bar

The verdict

A cheeky little hidden bar has just opened inside the recently renovated Queens Hotel and it’s the only place you’ll want to snuggle up this winter. This small-bar only seats 40, and is designed with large group bookings in mind, but we still think you should try your luck here tonight. 

We’ll start with the fit out, which is all dark stained timbers, deep green and gold accents and a green and off-white checked floor. Aptly named Zebra Bar, the vibe is safari, complete with a safari-themed mural and a cocktail list cocked full with all of the classics. Now onto the cocktails—we know that’s why you’re really here. 

Led by the stellar Smelly Goat bar team, there will be a few unconventional ingredients thrown into the mix. Exhibit A is the Queens’ Hotel’s take on the Bloody Mary. The Genghis Can is made with Wyborowa vodka, tomato, hoisin, sriracha and shitake and that is only the beginning of this boozy adventure friends. 

Once those hunger pangs set in, hit up the food menu, which will see all of the goodies from Queen Chow making its way to your table. Expect dishes like duck spring rolls, pan fried and baked dim sum platter, salt ‘n’ pepper squid with chili bean mayo.
