The verdict
Bringing Middle Eastern flavours and heart to Chippendale, Zigi's Wine Bar is all about sharing great food, wine, cheese and experiences with friends new and old (and dogs!).
The seasonal dinner menu might offer 36-hour tea-smoked brisket with house-made mixed pickles, pita and tahini, 42-hour Jerusalem lamb with confit potato, ratatouille and minted labneh, and snacks like golden falafel, with a mega selection of cheeses from around the world also part of the mix.
The wine list was devised to showcase distinct regions of the world, with an eclectic mix spanning Israel to Argentina.
