If you've ever tried searching for the perfect pair of jeans, you've likely landed on a pair from Abrand. However, the tables have turned this month, and the brand is now doing its own search—for the newest face of its label.
Launched in partnership with Urban Outfitters, Universal Store, and Precision MGMT, Abrand is searching the globe for up-and-coming models and influencers of all genders to submit their best model walk for a chance to win their “Next Icons Models Search”.
Not only will the lucky new face get secure some serious bragging rights, but they will also take home a $50,000 cash prize, a modelling contract, and a photo shoot in a dream location. It can't get much better than that, right?
Keen to enter? Applicants need to submit a runway walk or model pose wearing Abrand's jeans via TikTok using the #AbrandNextIcons sound and hashtags. If you don't already own a pair of Abrand jeans, don't worry. As part of the brand's partnership with Universal Store, you can try on or purchase a pair in-store and film your submission.
Voting will be open to the public, and you can submit your vote and select your favourite applicants via Abrand's website. The top 50 entries from Los Angeles, New York, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland, and Sweden will be invited to join an in-person casting. Successful round two applications will then enjoy a meet and greet with a panel of judges from Precision MGMT and Abrand Jeans, who will select six finalists to win a flight to Los Angeles, hotel accommodation, a studio photoshoot, and a special event.
The top six finalists will feature in a global campaign that will be released in April 2023. After that, voting will re-open to the public to select the single finalist who will win and become the newest face of Abrand Jeans, set to be announced in July 2023.
