Kaua‘i
Taste The Ocean With Some Spectacular Views
Kaua‘i’s vibrant culinary scene prioritises fresh bright ingredients that sing not only on your palette but also on the plate with an emphasis on freshly caught seafood and fruits of the sea (their mahi mahi is otherworldly) as well as their traditional kalua pig and taro found at typical lūʻau's. If you’re looking for a full-blown ocean view to enjoy your cocktails with then head to Sam’s Ocean View Bar and Restaurant, for a homage to old-school Hawaiian luxe dining then Eating House 1849 is definitely worth a visit, or for a Japanese twist in a stunning garden setting then you can’t go past Ama Restaurant. And to finish off the evening, make sure to go past Lappert’s for some of the Hawaiian staple desserts shave ice to cool you down on those beautiful balmy evenings.
Zipline Through The Jungle
Fun fact—Kaua‘i is Hawaii’s fourth largest island and is often referred to as the ‘Garden Island’, so you know that you’re going to be absolutely spoiled for luscious greenery and what better way to see it all than from above? There are many zip-lining companies across the island that are all wildly passionate about the conservation and protection of the flora and fauna so integral to the land. Whether you’re a daredevil or slightly afraid of heights, there are multiple courses to suit everyone’s bravery to help you challenge yourself and see an unforgettable perspective of the ancient forests below.
Check Out The Marine Life
Boasting some of Hawaii’s most pristine coastlines, Kaua‘i is the ultimate destination for lovers of all things ocean. Po’ipū Beach Park situated on the South Shore is a beloved unadulterated patch of crescent moon-shaped beach where you can snorkel, surf, bodyboard or even fish. At certain times of the year, you may also be lucky enough to spot whales migrating or the famous Hawaiian monk seal floating on by. Or why not head out to spectacular oceanside Kilauea Point where you can watch the humpback whales migrate from Alaska to breed each year?
Explore Some Natural Wonders
Kaua‘i is home to countless natural wonders that are sure to leave you absolutely stunned. For adventure seekers, you need to head up to the scenic lookout point of the massive 151-foot 'Opaeka'a Falls where you’ll be overwhelmed by the complete majesty of the luscious greenery and sheer power of the waterfalls (remember to always be respectful of the environment and keep a distance from all marine animals). If you’re keen on a tranquil stroll through nature, then you need to stop by the glorious Na Aina Kai Botanical Gardens showcasing the unique and whimsical flora and plant life the island has to offer or check out Allerton Garden which is home to over 80 acres of exotic wildflowers, sculptures and fountains.
Lānaʻi
Sample Everything This Enticing Island Has To Offer
Fun fact: Lānaʻi has no chain stores of any kind, meaning all of their produce pays tribute to the hardworking farmers, producers and creatures of the island ensuring that you get to taste only the very finest that the regions have to offer. For those looking for an intimate romantic dinner, the new Lanai City Bar and Grill is a must-stop, or if you’re after punchy local flavour and great atmosphere the Blue Ginger Cafe is popular with both locals and tourists alike, as is the legendary Richard’s Market famous for their poke bowls and stunning pastries. Yes, please.
Visit A Ghost Town
Situated on the eastern side of Lānaʻi, Keomuku was once a bustling fishing village that became a sugar plantation in town in the 1800s before the plantation collapsed and it quickly became a ghost town. Dark tourists will love touring through this completely abandoned beautiful but slightly eerie village that still holds some character-filled structures that have not been entered for generations.
Take A Private Helicopter Tour
If you’re keen on a truly luxe experience, then a private helicopter trip above the island will give you a birds-eye view over some of the most striking beaches and mountainous lands of the island. You’ll fly over the azure waters of Mānele Bay on the southern shore, then follow the perimeter of Lāna’i’s singular volcano Pālāwai which, don't worry, is now extinct. You’ll also be able to fly above and then hover down the neverending East Lāna’i sandy beach with its sparkling clear sands.

Island Of Hawai‘i
The youngest and largest island in the Hawaiian chain, the island of Hawai’i is brimming with natural splendour, outdoor adventures and enriching cultural activities. It's even dubbed the “island of adventure” because it's a trove of thrilling and unforgettable experiences for all ages. Whether you’re relaxing on one of the many shorelines, getting stuck into the multitude of water activities on offer (both on and in the turquoise waters), or learning the art of hula dancing after devouring a delicious poke bowl, we guarantee you won’t want to leave.
Swim With The Manta Rays (Hāhālua)
If you’re an animal lover, there are few more memorable and breathtaking experiences than swimming with the mysterious manta ray. One of the largest fishes in the ocean with wingspans of up to 20 feet or more but unlike stingrays or eagle rays, manta rays are the gentle giants of the sea with no stingers and a calming presence. Get up close and personal by booking a manta ray boat tour to snorkel or scuba with manta rays. The Island of Hawaiʻi’s Kona Coast is the best place to spot friendly manta rays at night—you can see them attracted to the spotlights in the waters off of resorts like the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and Outrigger Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay, just south of Historic Kailua Village (Kailua-Kona).
Visit An Active Volcano
Whether you’re a geologist or just a thrill seeker, the 11-mile road trip at Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park is a must-do. Home to incredible hikes, breathtaking vistas and Kīlauea, one of the world’s most active volcanoes, you’ll feel like you’ve landed on a different planet. Expect to see a stunning mix of lava, rock formations, ocean views, craters, rugged lava fields, and lush rainforest. The Crater Rim Drive undoubtedly serves up one of the most spectacular views where you can hop out along the way to see the steam vents and sulphur banks reminding you of the bubbling lava beneath your feet before exploring the otherworldly Thurston Lava Tubes—it’s major Jurrasic Park vibes.
Zipline Through The Treetops
