Described as Pokemon Go for music lovers, Jack Daniel’s Music Drop is scattering digital crates across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide in April.
Accessed via an augmented reality game on smartphones, the crates reimagine music distribution by enabling fans to collect unreleased tracks from three Aussie bands: Winston Surfshirt, Stand Atlantic and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets.
As well as the unreleased tracks, the crates also host exclusive artist AR content, points to redeem digital pressings on NFT market Opensea, Jack Daniel’s vouchers, and the chance to win a trip for two to the Jack Daniel's distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee.
