Some of my fondest memories growing up include smashing the buttons on my PS2 controller after school in an attempt to run over Krusty the Clown in The Simpsons: Hit & Run.
Whether it was begging my parents to let me watch The Simpsons at 6pm every weeknight or waiting patiently for my turn on the PS2, I think I can speak for almost everyone when I say The Simpsons were an iconic part of growing up.
And now, in a collection that so perfectly encapsulates these adolescent memories, Levi’s has teamed up with the iconic TV show and dropped a collab that is pure 90s vibes, brought to life through the conceptual lens of Springfield elementary students.
The collab celebrates the weird, wonderful, and completely eccentric moments of the Springfield students' lives via carefully-selected screengrabs, poses, and copy chosen for the graphics and patterns woven throughout the collab.
The majority of the collab is unisex with styles leaning into a fun, youthful feel. Expect wide wale corduroy over denim as a nod to elementary school uniforms and of course the iconic Simpsons yellow.
Poses, copy and screen grabs chosen for the graphics, labels, and patterns are all vehicles to be able to express the feeling of awkward adolescent years through a fun and youthful lens.
There’s nothing we love more than a collab, but nothing pulls on the heartstrings of our childhood quite like the new Simpsons x Levi’s collab. Shop the collab here.
