What Do We Know About The Mandalorian and Grogu Movie?
Now that you’re sufficiently excited after watching the trailer, let's talk details.
The Mandalorian and Grogu movie is directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man, Jungle Book, and also—side note—Pete from Friends), so you can expect mind-blowing blockbuster vibes and extraordinary CGI for days.
The story picks up from the end of Season 3 of The Mandalorian. The Empire has fallen, and the New Republic is trying to get some stability going across the galaxy. To help with this effort, Din Djarin (played by Pedro Pascal) teams up with old mate, Grogu, to deal with Imperial warlords that still pose a threat across various regions. Their mission brings them up against AT-ATs, terrifying Dejarik creatures, and Rotta the Hutt (Jabba’s son, played by Jeremy Allen White from The Bear), to name but a few. Sigourney Weaver also joins the cast as a New Republic colonel, which we’re pretty chuffed about, too.
That’s all she wrote for now, folks. Stay tuned for more info and new teasers as soon as they drop.
