While the rainy weather might be getting us down, there’s an upside to this wet Australian winter—it’s gumboot season! And who better to outfit your feet than the viral Melbourne rain boot brand, Merry People?
Just in time for the peak of winter, Merry People is dropping a brand-new addition: the Andie boot. Launching mid-July, Andie will debut in three versatile colours: Black, Ginger, and Peach. If that’s not enough, two more fun colorways are set to drop later this year. Like the rest of the Merry People range, these boots combine functionality with style, boasting practical features you’ve come to love, such as a neoprene lining for maximum warmth and comfort, slip-resistant outsoles, and recycled PU footbeds.
But there are a few exciting differences between the Andie and the brand's previous iterations. Designed specifically for creative wearers—gardeners, florists, and artists—Andie offers all the benefits of a traditional gumboot while being practical and stylish enough for everyday wear. The new boots feature the same chunky tread design as the Tully but with a lower heel and lighter feel, a wider opening for easy slip-on, and a higher shaft for extra coverage.
Mark your calendars because the Andie range will be available to shop online from mid-July for $169.95.
