With a vibing nightclub, rooftop pool, Mexican eats and plenty of tequila, MESA is ticking all our Bali boxes and then some.
It's due to open mid-2023 in Canggu, about 300m from the incredibly popular Finns Beach Club, with a focus on underground music, delicious food and drinks and laidback disco vibes.
You'll be able to head to the first floor restaurant for lunchtime tacos and modern Mexican share plates before climbing up to the rooftop pool bar for sunset cocktails—MESA has one of the only rooftop bars around so the views over the beach will be something special.
When it gets dark you can slam too many tequila shots and let international DJs and the world class sound system keep you dancing well past bedtime.
WA venue operator Aeson McKay is one of the guys behind the new space. He's seen the movement from Kuta to Seminyak and now to Canggu so after moving to Bali on a whim last year, he jumped at the chance to get involved.
“Like most Aussies, I have a huge soft spot for Bali after visiting for many years so when I moved over last year and was approached to join the project, I couldn’t pass it up! We’ve got a really strong team consisting of locals and expats, and we can’t wait to bring this amazing space to life."
