International Women’s Day is just about here—and to celebrate the occasion and women everywhere, NET-A-PORTER is back with its edit of epic IWD-themed slogan tees.
This year, they’ve rallied a hotlist of some of our favourite female designers to weigh in on the cause, including it-girl labels like Simone Rocha, Stella McCartney, Emilia Wickstead, Amina Muaddi, and Ninety Percent. They've gone beyond just tees too, with collectable jewellery from Roxanne Assoulin and Alighieri, and homewares from Anissa Kermiche.
There are 10 total items to pick and choose from, with each piece emblazoned with a phrase or embued with a mood that reflects the designer’s personal interpretation of female empowerment and strength.
Modelling the shirts this year is founder of Gal-Dem, Liv Little, presenter and author, Naomi Shimada, founder of Go Lucky, Thierry Chow, dancing duo, The Jaiy Twins, entertaining expert, Athena Calderone and models: Salem Mitchell, Teddy Quinlivan, and Coco Rocha.
Coolest part? 100 percent of the profits from each t-shirt will be donated to Women for Women International. The global organisation’s critical work aims to help women survivors of war to rebuild their lives and create lasting change in their communities. You can read more about Women for Women International right here.
In addition to profits being donated this year, for every public post tagged #PowerToChange, @womenforwomen, and @netaporter on TikTok or Instagram between Monday 1 March and Monday 8 March, 2021, NET-A-PORTER will also donate $1 to Women for Women International.
What are you waiting for? Wear your girl power on your sleeve and shop this sick edit of empowering t-shirts and collectables that give back.
