They say if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, but what if a good thing could be even better? The team at Paire has reconsidered the humble t-shirt to create something that’s comfier, softer and more breathable than that cotton number you’re likely wearing right now.
Bucking the trend of cotton, Paire has opted for a blend of merino wool and eucalyptus fibre, and they claim it’s the most breathable t-shirt in the world. And it checks out, considering the two materials are easier and breezier than cotton on their own.
The killer combo of merino and eucalyptus fibre not only makes for more airflow but a smooth finish that regulates temperature while wicking away any moisture—which means there’s a 0% chance of sweat marks no matter the forecast.
Avoiding the use of any synthetics and sourcing only sustainable materials for Paire’s classic t-shirt was always top priority for founder Nathan, and that’ll continue to be the case not just to provide quality t-shirts but to act as a responsible producer in the clothing space.
"It was impossible to find a performance t-shirt that's made with sustainable materials. They're often made with synthetic fibres because it's durable and dry fast. However, I thought there was enough plastic on Earth already and I didn't want to produce more of it,” said Nathan.
The Paire Classic Tee comes in at $79.00 and comes in five different colours.
