Percy Pigs Just Landed In Australia And British Ex-Pats Have Already Cleared The Shelves
In case you missed the quiet cultural revolution happening in the supermarket aisles, Percy Pigs, the cult-favourite, mildly chewy, vaguely fruity, objectively adorable pig-shaped lollies from Marks & Spencer, are now officially available at Coles. And they're already sold out.

For the uninitiated, the sugar-averse, or literally anyone not from Britain, Percy Pigs are a UK institution: part gummy, part foam, all nostalgia. They’re the kind of lolly that elicits misty-eyed monologues from British ex-pats about “proper sweets” and “back home,” usually delivered while shovelling an entire bag directly into their face.
Naturally, chaos has followed.
Within hours of hitting shelves, reports started rolling in of Brits descending upon Coles like it’s Boxing Day in Birmingham, clearing out stock with the speed and determination usually reserved for discounted kettles and Glastonbury tickets. Some shoppers are now begging for Coles to introduce a buying limit, presumably so the rest of us can actually see a bag in the wild before 2026.
And honestly… fair enough. There’s something dystopian about watching grown adults bulk-buy pastel pig faces like they’re prepping for some kind of lolly apocalypse.
Still, if you’ve never tried them, consider this your sign to go on a sugar-fuelled treasure hunt. Just look for the aisle full of frantic British accents, a few emotional support tote bags, and absolutely no stock left on the shelf.
Good luck out there.
