The Latest Afends x House Of Darwin Collab Is A Celebration Of The Top End

By

There's nothing we love more than a great brand collab. From fashion to homewares and even food, some of our favourite finds have been created at the hands of two great brands coming together to collaboratively launch an even more epic offering. And that's precisely what iconic streetwear brand, Afends and fashion-label House of Darwin have done.

If you're not familiar with House of Darwin, the label is an Indigenous-owned brand that has risen to notoriety for its cool, topical and witty graphics and its important community work. Focused on improving the quality of life and opportunities for remote First Nations communities, the brand brilliantly reinvests its profits back into social programs that support our First Nations people. Personally, we can't think of a better brand to support and shine the spotlight on, but trust us when we say this collab is just as sartorially cool as it is philanthropic. Set to hit stores this December, the "Return to Earth" collection includes a curated range of printed t-shirts, boardshorts and accessories that all pay homage to the raw elements of the Northern Territories' sacred lands, dirt roads, humidity, heat and beach adventures.

The best part? Not only was the collection's campaign shot during a week-long tour of the top end, highlighting sites that are special to House of Darwin and featuring all local talent, but a portion of the profits made from the collab will go to the Karrkad Kanjdji Trust, an organisation that supports and connects communities with country and culture in the N.T.
