If Sterling Point left you considering a suspiciously convenient inheritance in Canada, this is probably the next best thing. Gordon Bay Cottage, the Muskoka property used as the exterior of Gordon’s home in the Prime Video series, is welcoming guests for three limited stays this October.

Set on Lake Joseph in Ontario, the five-bedroom lodge plays a central role in the series, which follows Annie Rubin as she travels to the fictional Sterling Point after inheriting an island from her estranged grandfather. What follows is a tangle of shared ownership, buried family history and romantic complications, much of it unfolding against an enviably scenic lakeside backdrop.

Now, a small number of fans can experience the setting without any of the complicated will reading involved.

The real property dates back to 1902, when it first opened as a summer hotel. Its cedar-shingled façade, wraparound porch and stone path down to the water all appear in the show, while towering pines give the sprawling lodge plenty of privacy.

There is one notable difference between the cottage onscreen and the one guests will enter. The series’ interior scenes were filmed on a soundstage in Toronto, so don’t expect Gordon’s faded, decades-old decor when you walk through the door.

Instead, the actual cottage is bright and contemporary, pairing white walls and hardwood floors with generous living areas, a fireplace and plenty of room for group dinners. Original windows and a screened porch preserve some of the building’s early-20th-century character, with lake views appearing throughout the home.

Outside, guests have direct access to a private dock for swimming, canoeing, kayaking and paddleboarding. The secluded location also lends itself nicely to nights around the fire and some serious stargazing, while the restaurants and cafes of Port Carling are only a short drive away.

The Airbnb release includes three stays from October 2–5, October 9–12 and October 16–19, 2026. Requests to book open on September 15 at 9am ET, with accommodation priced at CAD $180 per night.

And with only three weekends available, securing the keys may require almost as much determination as claiming a fictional family estate.
