Speaking of that feeling you get when you put on your favourite pair of sunnies—turns out it’s backed by data. Recent research commissioned by Sunglass Hut found that 80% of Australians say what they wear affects their confidence, jumping to 90% among the Gen Zers surveyed. For nearly one in five Aussies, slipping on sunnies is an instant way to feel more in control. 

It also found that 74% of Australians consider themselves confident, with more than half saying they feel more self-assured now than ever before.
