Game-changing car-sharing app Turo launched in Australia in November 2022, and is now the number-one car-sharing or rental app in the country.
With over 175,000 active hosts and 3.2 million active guests in the world, Turo’s rental marketplace opens up access to vehicles ranging from sports cars to EVs, with extras like camping gear, child car seats, extra mileage also on offer depending on the trip you have in mind.
Turo has a super simple interface for booking and communication with your host via the app or online, and a variety of protection plans including options to limit your financial responsibility for damages to the car—just in case.
If you’re planning an overseas trip, you can use Turo across the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and France (provided you have a valid licence for your destination), with loads of hosts offering delivery to you, plus their own local knowledge and tips for your road trip.
