What began as an April Fools gag back in 2019 has become a reality for a second year in a row.
Yep, the two national treasures, Victoria Bitter and Volley, have come together for another capsule collection primed for sinking a cold one during Australia’s (red) hot vax summer.
First up is the Volley x VB sneaker. Green Grenade drinkers will be lacing up several classic Volley Heritage silhouettes which all feature a canvas upper, metal eyelets, and 100% animal-free materials.
The OG white colourway is making its triumphant return in a low cut, while for 2021, low and high cut models will score a lick of paint with a stealthy-black overhaul, too. Like last year, each shoe is finished with VB Founder Thomas Aitken’s signature on the upper.
As with all limited drops these days, you can expect several accessories to accompany your kicks. To keep you even cooler while you’re sucking down a Green Grenade (responsibly, of course) is a Third Man’s full brim hat available in white and green.
Rounding out the festival fit (yep, we’re dreaming, but stranger things, right?) are a set of mid socks with the appropriate badges of honour along the calf.
You can order your VB x Volley collab direct from the sauce… ah, source, right here. And yep, as goes standard with things that are ‘limited’, the range is expected to sell out damn quick.
