The Wednesday Cast Is Taking Over Cockatoo Island Ahead Of Season 2—And You’re Invited

It’s been nearly three years since Wednesday Addams danced her way into our cold, black hearts, and ever since, we’ve been patiently practising our cello solos while holding out for Season 2.

But the wait is almost over: Netflix’s Wednesday Season 2 Part 1 hits our screens on Wednesday, 6 August, followed by Part 2 on Wednesday, 3 September, 2025.

To celebrate the highly anticipated new season, the cast (and outcasts) are being summoned to Sydney for Wednesday Island, a one-night-only, gloriously gothic fan festival taking over Cockatoo Island on Saturday 16 August—and you could win free tickets

What To Expect

Two people dancing

Step into the spooky world of Wednesday as Cockatoo Island transforms into a harrowing homage to the fictional town of Jericho, Vermont, and the shadowy halls of Nevermore Academy.

Peek into Wednesday and Enid’s mismatched room, creep through The Raven’s Passage, and brave a nightmare-fuelling Scream Show. There’s also a surprise activation, so spooky they’re refusing to spill the details—suspicious.

Plus, the delightfully dark cast of Netflix’s Wednesday are flying into Sydney for the final stop on their global Doom tour. Jenna Ortega, aka the queen of deadpan and Wednesday Addams herself, will be there in the flesh, alongside Emma Myers, who plays our favourite werewolf roomie, Enid Sinclair. Directing royalty Tim Burton is also on the lineup, along with the show’s writers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar.

And because even the most emotionally repressed goths need a dance break, pop icon and social media star Peach PRC will be performing live, alongside bubblegum grunge artist ŪLA

There’ll also be exclusive Wednesday merch up for grabs, spine-tingling giveaways, and unsettling Wednesday-themed treats from multiple food and beverage vendors, with two free tokens included in your ticket.

All ticketholders will be ferried to and from Wednesday Island by boat, so no need to row yourself across Sydney Harbour as if you’re competing in the Poe Cup.

How To Score Tickets

Wednesday Island is a free event with limited tickets available. You’ll need to apply for General Admission between now and Sunday, 3 August, to be in the running to snag a double pass.

Note: Wednesday Island is a 16+ event, and a legal guardian must accompany ticket holders under 18.
