Everything You Need To Know About Four Seasons Koh Samui, The Latest White Lotus Resort

By

Not now sweetie, mummy’s watching The White Lotus season 3 trailer.

The Emmy-winning HBO reverse murder mystery series that has us all in a chokehold for two spicy seasons has finally dropped the full-length trailer for the highly anticipated season three. And from the drama, debauchery and inevitable death of one unlucky character, it looks like it’s going to be the best one yet.

We’re counting down the days until it’s released on Binge on February 17, but in the meantime, it's the filming location that’s got our tails wagging.

Filmed in the ultra-glamorous Four Seasons Koh Samui in Thailand, it’s as luxurious as we’ve come to expect from The White Lotus resorts.

Hundreds of vibrant green coconut palms shelter the resort on the northwest coast of the island, with the 60 deluxe villas perfectly positioned on the hill so that each gets ocean views, sea breeze to counteract Thailand’s humidity and easy access to the private beach below.

The serene, spacious rooms are fitted with a king size bed, separate study area and contemporary decor, with crisp white linen, mahogany floors, dark wooden panels and turquoise accents mirroring the azure waters in the ocean below. Each bathroom features two vanity areas, colossal shower and a freestanding bath tub for stress-relieving soaks.

Outside, dense jungle landscape provides complete privacy from your neighbours so you can splash around in your private pool in peace, with a fully-stocked wine fridge ensuring you never go thirsty.

You won’t go hungry at the Four Seasons Koh Samui, either. The open-air restaurant at the top of the hill, Koh Thai Kitchen, will have you dining like royalty with southern Thai cuisine served with a side of panoramic views, while oceanside eatery Pla Pla’s Mediterranean menu will fill the void when you tire of Thai.

Once settled, it’s up to you how you spend your time. Plonk yourself down in one of the many cabanas by the infinity pool and let the tray-bearing staff ensure you’re never without a drink in your hand, take the yacht out to explore Angthong Marine Park's 42 islands, snorkel amongst the colourful coral reefs, or get a soul-shifting massage in the resort’s renowned spas (yes, plural).

Naturally, this bucket-list location is set to surge in popularity once The White Lotus starts streaming, so now’s the time to plan your trip to Thailand. Book the Four Seasons Koh Samui via Luxury Escapes or Booking.com

And remember, as the season 3 trailer declares: what happens in Thailand, stays in Thailand...
