Flight Of The Conchords Live In New Zealand: Show Times, Tickets And How To Get There
It’s business time, New Zealand. Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement are bringing Flight of the Conchords home for their first national tour in 14 years, with eight November shows across Wellington, Christchurch and Auckland.
The original dates prompted enough enthusiasm to warrant extra Wellington performances and an Auckland outing at Spark Arena. Whether you’ve been quoting the HBO series since 2007 or simply appreciate a beautifully constructed song about deeply ordinary circumstances, here’s your guide to the homecoming.
We’ll update this list as more door times, running times and show details are released.

Dates and listed event times:
- Tuesday 10 November 2026: 8pm
- Saturday 14 November 2026: 8pm

How Do I Get To Michael Fowler Centre?
There are Metlink bus stops nearby, making public transport a handy option. Plan your route home as well as your trip in, particularly if you’re attending one of the weeknight shows.
Driving? Michael Fowler Centre doesn’t have public parking, so you’ll need to use nearby street parking or a parking building. Browse Wellington parking options on Parkopedia before setting off.
For drop-offs and pick-ups, there’s an area at the front of the building accessible from Wakefield Street.
What Time Should I Arrive?
All four shows are listed for 8pm. Separate door times and finishing times haven’t been provided, so check your ticket and the venue’s event information closer to the night. Leave enough time to get inside and find your seat before the listed start.
Christchurch: Wolfbrook Arena
Christchurch gets one stop on the tour, with the Conchords heading to Wolfbrook Arena at 55 Jack Hinton Drive, Addington.
Date and listed event time:
- Thursday 12 November 2026: 8pm
How Do I Get To Wolfbrook Arena?
The arena provides information for arrivals by car, bus, bike, on foot, taxi and rideshare. Check the venue’s getting-here guidance to work out the best route for your starting point.
If you’re driving, give yourself extra time. The venue warns that surrounding roads can get congested, particularly during commuter hours—and this show falls on a Thursday.
What Time Should I Arrive?
The listed event time is 8pm, with doors and the finish time still to be confirmed in the supplied information.
Wolfbrook Arena recommends arriving at least 45 minutes before an event starts, so aim to be there by 7.15pm. That’s an arrival recommendation rather than a confirmed door time; check the event page before heading out.
Auckland: The Civic
For those who prefer their musical comedy with a theatrical backdrop, the first two Auckland shows are happening at The Civic.
Dates and listed event times:
- Wednesday 18 November 2026: 8pm
- Thursday 19 November 2026: 8pm
How Do I Get To The Civic?
Te Waihorotiu station provides a convenient connection to the Aotea Arts Quarter. Take the Wellesley Street exit for a short walk to The Civic, and use the Auckland Transport journey planner to map out your trip.
Driving? Civic Car Park is close to the theatre. It’s cashless, so have a payment card ready or use the AT Park app. If you’re paying in-app, finish your parking session before heading underground to leave, as reception can be limited.
Other nearby venues may also have events on, so keep a backup parking option in mind.
What Time Should I Arrive?
Both performances are listed for 8pm. Door times and running times haven’t been supplied yet, so check your ticket and the venue’s latest guidance before heading out.
Auckland: Spark Arena
Missed out on The Civic? The additional Spark Arena show on Saturday 21 November gives Auckland fans another chance to catch the duo—and comes with an earlier listed event time.
Date and listed event time:
- Saturday 21 November 2026: 7pm
How Do I Get To Spark Arena?
Britomart is approximately a 10–15-minute walk from Spark Arena, with a route towards Beach Road and Mahuhu Crescent. The InnerLink bus also stops on Beach Road, within walking distance of the venue.
Coming by ferry? The Downtown Ferry Terminal is around a 10–15-minute walk away. Follow Quay Street along the waterfront or take Customs Street East and Beach Road.

Allow time to park and walk over, and check NZ Transport Agency’s traffic updates for roadworks or motorway closures. Getting dropped off? The venue recommends the area by its footbridge on Quay Street.
What Time Should I Arrive?
This show is listed for 7pm, an hour earlier than the other tour dates. Separate door and performance times haven’t been supplied, so check the venue’s event information before making your plans.
The Set List: What To Expect
A confirmed setlist hasn’t been included in the tour information, so we’re still waiting on the exact mix of songs, banter and gloriously awkward exchanges.
Until then, your listening homework comes courtesy of The Distant Future, their self-titled debut, I Told You I Was Freaky and Live in London. For a quick refresher, put on Business Time, The Most Beautiful Girl (In The Room) and Bret, You Got It Going On—consider those playlist suggestions rather than confirmed inclusions.
Fourteen years between national tours is a long time. Best make sure you’ve got the right night, the right venue and someone who appreciates the same deeply specific jokes.
