Since 2015, Electric Avenue has been lighting up Hagley Park in Christchurch, bringing some of the best festival line-ups in Aotearoa to the South Island city. Over the last decade, the stage has seen, among others, Fat Freddy's Drop, Chase & Status, Rudimental, Matt Corby, Lorde, The Chemical Brothers, Khruangbin, Kesha, and Jordan Rakei. And this year's line-up is looking to be no different. 

Now spread over two days (a development in 2025), the 2027 edition of the festival will see Kings of Leon headline Friday 26 Feburary, and Calvin Harris headline Saturday 27 February. Joining them include Major Lazer, Bebe Rexha, Kasabian, Daily J, Jungle, Kehlani, Wilkinson, Tove Lo, Lime Cordiale, and more. 

While Calvin Harris has just announced a massive, four-city Australia headline tour, Electric Avenue will be his only New Zealand show. 

"We’ve got two genuine global stadium artists as headliners," says festival director Callam Mitchell. "But what I love about this 2027 line-up is the breadth of it—it’s a really eclectic mix of genres, with something for all generations." 

The line-up isn't just about the headliners, though. Many of the artists featured have played global festivals in the Northern Hemisphere's summer circuit, including Tomorrowland and Coachella. They're joined by local artists like Fat Freddy's Drop, Home Brew, Ladyhawke and, perhaps most notably, Dave Dobbyn's band and total Kiwi icons, Th' Dudes. 

Tickets go on sale at midday on Thursday 24 September.
