There’s a reason why fried chicken is hailed as the ultimate comfort food and it affirms its place as a cult favourite and all-round food hero when made with love and care. And we’ve found a place that dishes up love in bucketloads (of fried chicken). Put down the KFC—this is gonna be your new local.

2 Bros is the newest must-try spot for fried-chicken fanatics and we’re digging it. This funky Southport joint isn’t your average ‘grab your chicken and go’ kind of place. The asymmetrical orange blue walls provide a vibrant colour pop to the space and the spacious indoor and outdoor seating is perfect for rounding up your gang for a casual Friday night feed.

They sure don’t cluck around at 2 Bros, serving up crispy chook in the glorious forms of wings, bites, tenders, burgers and wraps. If you’re trying to satisfy a serious fried chicken craving, dig into one of their Bros Bundles, which come loaded with burgers, fries, drinks and onion rings.

We’ve got our eyes on the Triple Double: think two spicy fried chicken breasts, Angus beef, American cheese, Nashville spiced sauce and all your usual salad goodies. Yep, we’re drooling too. Vegans are covered with their delicious brown rice, quinoa and vegetable burger so there’s no need to leave anyone out.
