It’s no secret how much we love food and how much we love wine, so when the two combine, you already know we’re there—glass of vino in hand, of course. The Sanctuary Cove Food & Wine Festival is returning to the Gold Coast this July and will transform Sanctuary Cove into a thriving food and wine lovers playground.
The Coast's most delectable event will be held over nine memorable days of incredible food, wine and entertainment, offering guests a different culinary experience every day. With a sumptuous array of events from long luncheons to fireside degustation dinners and sweet high teas, this festival truly celebrates all the senses and showcases the best of the region.
As always, there are some epic tags on show during the Sanctuary Cove Food & Wine Festival, including Ioesco Café Cucina, Craggy Range winery, locally-owned Freshwater Gin and the esteemed The Fireplace Restaurant. From July 17 to July 25, you’ll need to clear your calendar ‘cause it’s about to be jam-packed with a mouth-watering lineup.
Launching the festivities in luxe AF style, the opening Beats and Bites event will serve up the first-ever sips of the new, locally-owned Freshwater Gin, at the exclusive cocktail event. Featuring a pumping DJ, stunning superyacht backdrop and carefully curated bites, the official launch party will set the tone for the rest of the festival.
Continue celebrations at the Craggy Range Wine Dinner in the Grange, where guests will be guided through a four-course dinner, perfectly matched with highly-awarded Craggy Range wines. Led by Craggy Range winery Director Mary-Jeanne Hutchinson, you know this is gonna be a damn good one.
We’re lusting over more headliners, including an exclusive night of coastal Mediterranean flavours at Destino, an intimate five-course whisky-infused degustation dinner at The Fireplace Restaurant and a charming high tea at Rose Gelateria, which combines rosé, macarons and gelato. We’re not drooling, you are.
General Manager, Johan Hasser says this year’s gourmet festival will surprise and delight guests with its locally grown culinary and artisan talent.
“With the calibre of talent on offer this year, we are looking forward to welcoming back old friends and introducing new ones to the highly anticipated and unmatched experience at Sanctuary Cove,” Hasser said.
Despite some of the big names on display, you don’t have to be a foodie expert to enjoy the Sanctuary Cove Food & Wine Festival. It’s the perfect week for wine and food novices and experts alike; you’ll immerse yourself in the gourmet cuisine that has made Sanctuary Cove famous, as well as experimental drinks appearing for the first time, exclusive to the festival.
This highly anticipated flavour odyssey always sells out, showing just how much we Gold Coasters love delicious food, quality wine and having a good time. You can’t blame us, right? Tickets will go fast so clear your calendar for this baby, stat.
