It’s that magical time of year again, and if you’re looking to capture the perfect festive moment, we’ve got you covered with the best Santa photo locations on the Gold Coast/Yugambeh language region. 

Whether you're bringing the whole family, your furry besties, or just soaking up the Christmas spirit, these spots are going above and beyond to make your Santa snap unforgettable. To help you out, we’ve made a list (and checked it twice) of the very best places on the Gold Coast to get Santa photos this Christmas.

Robina Town Centre

Christmas is arriving early at Robina Town Centre. Santa is bringing a brand-new festive wonderland, Santa’s Magical Christmas Forest, straight from the North Pole. Bursting with twinkling lights, lush greenery, and charming forest creatures, this enchanting walk-through experience promises to make Christmas photos even more magical.

Adding to the festive magic, Santa will also unveil a charming Wishing Well, where, with a sprinkle of his Christmas magic, weekly wishes will come true throughout December.

Santa photo sessions are availabe from 1 November, including traditional Santa photos, Baby's First Christmas on select dates, pet photos on select dates (the first 500 bookings will receive a special Santa treat), Sensitive Santa and Auslan Santa (30 November).

Westfield Coomera and Helensvale

Santa is arriving at Westfield Coomera and Westfield Helensvale from Saturday 8 November, ready for photos right up until Christmas Eve. The full suite of Christmas photography options includes Sensitive Santa, Auslan Santa,  My First Christmas for babies and Pet Photography, ensuring a festive experience for all. 

Mrs Claus will even be available for photos alongside Santa on 19, 26 and 27 November. All of these photo sessions will need to be booked online in advance. Don’t miss out on capturing the Christmas magic with extended trading hours from 15 December to make it easier to fit in your festive shopping.

Pacific Fair

Pacific Fair's magical Golden Palace is where all that glitters is gold, setting the scene for a stunning family photo from 1 November to 24 December. 

You can book your pets for their very own Santa 'paw-trait' from 8 November to 10 December, or opt for a Sensitive Santa sensory-friendly experience with dimmed lights and a quieter environment on select dates. Bookings are essential for both of these experiences, as they usually sell out. For more details on pricing and to book your spot, head to the Pacific Fair website.

Sanctuary Cove

Capture the magic of Christmas at Sanctuary Cove, where Santa will be available for photos on 12, 13, 14 and 18 December. Bring your family, friends, and even your pets (pet sessions available on 13 & 14 December) for a relaxed photo session—just be sure to bring your own camera or phone to capture the moment.

For an extra dose of Christmas cheer, Sanctuary Cove is dazzling this festive season with a spectacular program of family-friendly events including two exciting new additions: the Santa’s Arrival Parade on Saturday 29 November at 10am and an indulgent High Tea with Santa, Mrs Claus and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer on Saturday 6 & Sunday 7 December. The Pines Elanora

The Pines Elanora is bringing the festive magic this season with Santa Photos available from Friday 14 November to Wednesday 24 December. Bookings are open, but walk-ins are also welcome for regular Santa photos and the special Santa and Mrs Claus sessions, held every Saturday until 13 December at select times.

Pet Photos are back by popular demand and are offered exclusively on Sundays from 10am-4pm, but be sure to book as these spots are highly sought-after and walk-ins cannot be accommodated. Most sessions will feature a real-bearded Santa for an extra authentic touch.
