The fairy light untangling has begun and you’ve cut down the pine tree in your mate’s backyard while he was out of town. Now, the only thing left to do is buy a truck-load of gifts for your nearest and dearest.

Alright, we just felt your heart-rate increase. But don’t worry, we’ve got your back. Instead of fighting the shopping centre crowds, calmly wander around our favourite local markets and pick up thoughtful gifts.

Here are all of the best Christmas markets on the Gold Coast to check out this silly season.

Bespoke home decor, vegan skincare, one of a kind jewellery and more. Zip in between 8am and noon.

So sometimes it’s near impossible to avoid hosting a night or two at your place. Luckily, Burleigh Market has all of your fresh produce sorted. Stop by between 6am and noon to load up on showstopping fruit platter spreads and a couple of home-made chutneys you can pass off as your own.

After peeking at over 100 market stalls, make a visit to the petting zoo, take a casual pony ride or settle in for a free Christmas movie on the big screen. ‘Tis the season to kick back under the stars and watch Santa arrive by helicopter. Yes, really. Swing by between 4pm and 10pm for three seriously impressive Christmas markets on the Gold Coast.
