If there was ever a time to shop local, it's now. And there's plenty of the Gold Coast’s local growers, producers and makers back at the markets, ready to fill your fridge and pantry with the freshest produce you can buy. 

So give the supermarket a miss and instead head to one of the Gold Coast’s best markets this weekend. 

Twilight Markets

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Night Market

If you’re looking for things to do this Friday, the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Market is where it’s at. Soak up the great atmosphere as you traipse around undercover in the lush sanctuary, bop your head to live music and grab a drink or two at the bar. Entry’s free, so hop to it.

It was a short but sweet love affair with Miami Marketta's drive-thru market, because this Gold Coast market has been open for dine-in and takeaway for some time now. Ready to dish up a delicious range of street eats on both Friday and Saturday night, there will be spaced out seating for you to sit down and enjoy your nosh at. One of the Gold Coast’s biggest and most popular weekly farmers’ markets, Bundall Farmers’ Market truly is a foodie’s paradise. With more than 80 stall holders dishing up an amazing array of artisan brekkies and farm fresh food, it’s the perfect place for your weekly shop. So if you want your house stocked with fresh, healthy food, this is where you should be heading this weekend.

A weekly must-do on any Palm Beach or Currumbin dwellers’ weekend social calendar, the Palm Beach Currumbin Farmers Markets is one of the best farmers markets on the Gold Coast. This well-patronised market has truckloads of local, leafy, tasty things to eat, so if you’re in charge of the BBQ salad this weekend, make sure you stop here. This is also a plastic bag-free market, so BYO reusable vessels to carry your goodies.
