Gold Coast, we have spectacular news for you. As of this week, Surfers Paradise is being transformed into the Surfers Paradise People’s Esplanade by the City of Gold Coast.
The event is running for three whole months and doesn’t wrap up until 16 November. Which, you may have noticed, is just in time for school holidays.
The pop-up has one goal: to rekindle the love we once had for Surfers Paradise. Choose between Sunset Sounds, free wellness and workout classes, a movie under the stars, or simply spend the day in a deck chair with the sand between your toes at the Beach House.
Keen? Open up your shared cal and start planning. Here’s everything that’s on in Surfers Paradise until November 16.
- Community Art Installation
- Carnival Creations Samba Dancers
- Surfers Paradise Markets
- Sandy Sundays
- Beach Volleyball
- Roving Acrobats
- KBOD TikTok-Inspired Dance Classes
- DJ Skool
- Rock N Slide Skate Workshops
Community Art Installation
The pop-up is all about reclaiming Surfers. And what better way to do that than to contribute to a community art installation? Draw, write, take to the streets with chalk or stickers, or whatever your chosen medium may be, to share what you love about Surfers Paradise. The work will be displayed on the gallery walls of the precinct.
