Given the whirlwind it’s been, I was planning a quiet weekend to round things out—but with everything happening across the Gold Coast/Kombumerri country over the next few days, I don’t think I can resist heading out for a bite, a sip and a boogie.

The Growlers Are Hitting Miami Marketta
After a six-year touring hiatus, cult favourites The Growlers are officially back—and they’re bringing their sun-soaked, surf-psyched sound to Miami Marketta. Pioneers of the beloved “Beach Goth” aesthetic, the band returns with that unmistakable blend of garage grit and coastal cool, fronted by the ever-charismatic Brooks Nielsen.
