When you think of a golf course, great food probably isn’t the first thing that comes to mind—at least that’s the case for us—but Cook Club is here to flip that perception on its head.

Perched on 200 acres of lush Gold Coast hinterland at Mudgeeraba’s Boomerang Farm, this new dining venue is as much a feast for the eyes as it is for the tastebuds. Terracotta hues are contrasted by vibrant teal accents  and pops of greenery in the sprawling, open-air space; it's warm, inviting and effortlessly cool.

Surrounded by vibrant greenery, Cook Club feels like a jungle oasis—part prehistoric fever dream, part modern escape—and is the brainchild of Stevie Filipovic, the creative force behind Light Years and Hotel Panchos. So yes, we’re expecting big things.

Equal parts funky lunch spot and hinterland escape, Cook Club serves up bold, South-East Asian-inspired dishes that pack a punch. Heading up the kitchen is chef Rodrigo Paraboa, bringing his expertise from standout venues like Paper Daisy, Little Truffle, and Moustache Wine Bar to craft vibrant, flavourful plates.

Think betel leaf grilled prawns with creamy coconut corn, daikon, and crispy sambal, and wood-fired grilled snapper swimming in coconut yellow curry and topped with crunchy toasted nuts.

No Gold Coast venue would be complete without an exceptional drinks menu, and Cook Club more than delivers. Sip on the Easy on the Eyes, a refreshing mix of gin, coconut rum, watermelon, and lime, or the Ninja Nectar, a tropical concoction with vanilla vodka, yuzu, passionfruit, and a splash of prosecco—perfect for balmy summer afternoons.

Set across 200 hectares of the stunning Gold Coast hinterland, Cook Club doesn’t just stop at exceptional food and cocktails. Its location at Boomerang Farm doubles as a wedding venue, offering a unique setting for everything from intimate celebrations to grand affairs.

Currently serving breakfast and lunch, Cook Club invites you to slow down, soak in the relaxed vibes, and hit a few holes while you’re at it.

Consider this your sign to visit Cook Club—the perfect antidote to the mundane where reality feels like it’s taken the day off. Trust us—this is the best food you’ll find on any golf course, ever.
