The AO Finals Festival Is Back With A Stacked Line-Up For Three Days Of Post-Game Parties

By

Few things encapsulate the Melbourne summer the way the Australian Open does, and each year they up the ante with their celebrations.  Now in its second year, Untitled Group’s Finals Festival will be taking place in the John Cain Arena from January 25th to 28th, and the lineup is nothing short of a good time. Keep reading to find out all the details, and make sure you end this year's AO on a high note, literally.

Everything from the lineup to the venue is bigger and badder this year. Originally hosted at the Kia Arena, they’ve moved to John Cain for its 10 000 person capacity, which is set to be its biggest open air music performance the venue has ever seen.

The festival kicks off on January 25th, which coincides with AO Pride Day. You’ll be able to catch queer icons Peach PRC and Tash Sultana (also the AO pride ambassador) play, New York’s own Yaeji, as well as Djanaba, Anesu and DJ Luv You

The second day of the festival, Saturday 27th January, falls on the Woman’s Final, so before you get stuck into some world class tennis, you can let loose with Ruel, DMA’S, and The Jungle Giants, as well as Tia Gostelow and Mel Hall.

Finally, on Sunday 28th January aka the Men’s Final, the Brits will be leading the vanguard, with Grove Armada and Rudimental both playing, as well as local legends Latifa Tee, Sunshine & Disco Faith Choir, and Cooper Smith.

Tickets are already on sale right here, and day passes starting from $69 include access to both the live performances and ground pass access to Melbourne and Olympic Park. There are both general admission floor tickets and reserved seat tickets if GA is not your vibe. If you’ve already purchased tennis match tickets for the day and you’re now kicking yourself, fear not—they're also selling upgrades starting from $40 for access to the Finals Festival.
