Picnic Among The Cherry Trees At This Stunning Orchard In The Yarra Valley

By

We’ve got plenty of sunshine on the cards, and what better way to enjoy it than picking and picnicking amongst the leafy backdrop of the Yarra Valley’s Cherry Hill Orchards?

First up is of course the main event: cherry picking, where visitors can go all in on two hours of picking and eating as many cherries as one desires while strolling through the lush 100-acre orchards.

The cherry farms, located in Victoria’s famed wine region have announced that they’ll be welcoming visitors to their leafy orchard. On the spread is boujee picnics in partnership with The Posh Palais, where you and the crew can get stuck in amongst a secluded row of cherry trees with a fancy pre-packed food and drink hamper. Or perhaps you’re up for a wine tasting at the adjacent winery, Rochford Wines, who are linking up with the orchards for a tasting and picking combo.

Those wanting to go all out can opt in for the cherries and ballooning package, which takes off in the early AM with a hot air balloon ride over the rolling hills of the Yarra Valley, followed by a champagne brekky and a morning of picking cherries in the orchard.

The picnics kick off on Monday 14 November at the Coldstream orchard and Saturday 26 November—head over here for more information.
