Calling all hungry Melbourne locals. The buzzing CBD Japanese restaurant Disuko is serving up a mouthwatering $40 snack-and-martini deal you won’t want to miss.

While saving is officially in, that doesn’t mean enjoying the dining delights has to be out. With many of us keeping a closer eye on our spending, an excellent meal out doesn't have to be completely off the cards.

That’s why we’ve joined forces with ING to serve up something special across 12 standout restaurants across Australia. Launching with a fresh set of dishes each month, these bite-sized baller moments are all about premium snacks, iconic bar orders and little tastes of luxury without the eye-watering price tag.

Food on plateStepping up to the plate this month is Disuko, where $40 gets you a playful spin on an iconic Osaka street eat—a crisp Takoyaki Beignet with a light, airy centre of charred octopus and spring onion, finished with Sea Cave Beluga caviar and delicate bonito flakes.

And because no bite is complete without an equally decadent sip, this one comes with a Mini Yuzu Martini made with Mount Zero yuzu olive oil, fat-washed Absolut Vodka and Bermutto Sansho Vermouth, garnished with Mount Zero yuzu olive oil droplets.

Citrusy and silky with notes of yuzu, grapefruit and an understated herbal kick, it’s a delightful finale for your caviar-topped beignet. Oh, and did we mention these gorgeous city digs also boast a pink-hued rooftop, with vinyl spinning all night long?

Yep, it’s a snack-and-sip combo that feels luxe, but it comes in at just $40. Because yes, while many of us are thinking about saving, that doesn't always mean fancy meals have to drop off from the schedule entirely.
