A Whopping New 1100sqm Food Precinct Is Opening In Burwood

By

An outdoor food precinct surrounded by green grass.

You all probably know about Burwood Brickworks—the super sustainable shopping centre in Melbourne’s east, complete with a rooftop farm and garden—we’ve mentioned them a few times before. But we’re mentioning them again because their new Eat Street and outdoor plaza have just opened.

The precinct will include nine venues each offering something different, inspired by street eats from around the world. There will be a brand new venue from the team on the rooftop at acre farm & eatery—the new acre farm cake & counter. There will also be a New Northcote Brewhouse microbrewery and tavern, Ichiro Izakaya bar Japanese restaurant, Rosa Mexicano, and a Ben & Jerry’s for good measure. The sustainable Norwood Cafe will also be on hand for all your caffeine needs.

To celebrate the launch of Burwood Brickworks’ Eat Street, there will be special meal deals and live entertainment on offer until Sunday 28 March. Expect $10 meals for adults and $5 meals for kids across the venues where you’ll find pizzas, fajitas, assorted sashimi, hot pots, fried chicken burgers and plenty of other culinary delights.

Eat Street is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the plaza is also dog-friendly. Check the Brickworks website for individual business hours.
