Soak Up Some Rays With The Return Of Port Melbourne’s Beach Club

It’s back. The Exchange Hotel’s Beach Club will once again pop-up on the sandy shores of Port Melbourne beach this summer.

The free pop-up features a massive shipping container bar, a kitchen which will be whipping up fresh seafood, and summer salads, an ice cream cart, beach-side cabanas, live music from Friday to Sunday, plus totem tennis, volleyball, a ton of deck chairs to relax in, and a heap more.

“Port Melbourne life really centres around the beach and the waterfront, yet most waterfront activity in the City of Port Phillip tends to focus on St Kilda and further down the bay. I’m excited for the Beach Club’s return to Port Melbourne Beach, and this year we are going bigger and better - with the addition of beachside cabanas and bottomless sunset sessions. Our locals are going to love it, you can even bring your pooch pals.” said Exchange Hotel’s Giuseppe Lacava

Cabanas can be booked out for two to four people for an afternoon session (12pm to 4:30pm) or a sunset session (5pm to 10pm), and they include full table service.

The bar will be keeping thirst at bay by serving cocktails on tap, cold beer, wine by the carafe, and Esky packages which are perfect for groups.

The Exchange Beach Club will also be running bottomless sunset sessions every Thursday from 6pm to 8pm where you can watch the sun go down while tearing into bottomless cocktails on tap, beer, and tap wines with an item from the seafood, burger, skewer, or salad section of the menu.

The Exchange Beach Club kicks off on Friday 24 January.
