Sport Meets Streetwear In HoMie’s New AFL Collection, Made For Winter
Melbourne-born streetwear brand and social enterprise HoMie has dropped its latest AFL collection—and it's our favourite yet.
Across 19 knitwear pieces (one for each club, except the Lions which have a Brisbane and Fitzroy version), the new drop merges sports with streetwear in a way that only HoMie can. Knits feature three horizontal stripes in club colours, are designed with a boxy fit, and are super warm and durable—perfect for winter.

Having previously launched AFL jerseys and a first wave of knitwear, the Fitzroy-based label is no stranger to AFL merch. The first two collections were a little more abstract in design, while the new launch is slightly more in line with 'traditional' merch, yet still feels very HoMie-coded. If you weren't an AFL superfan, and you hadn't been told, you might not even realise the pieces were aligned to the league at all.
Speaking on the new collection, HoMie co-founder and creative director Marcus Crook says "Streetwear and sportswear are colliding more than ever, and fans want gear that works beyond game day. These knits keep it subtle, but still let you rep your club colours any day of the week."

It's more than just repping your team though, every HoMie x AFL knit sold helps fund HoMie's ongoing mission to support young people affected by homelessness or hardship. Every HoMie purchase (AFL or otherwise) helps fund training, paid pathways and job opportunities.
The knits are $159 each and come in sizes XXS to 5XL. To meet demand and avoid overproduction, knitwear is available for pre-order between 24 March and 6 April, due to be shipped out mid to late May. You can order yours here.
