The colder months of Melbourne just seem to be getting better and better this year as we’ve just heard the news that the Juniperlooza Gin Festival is coming to town.
Taking over the Pilgrim Bar just on the Yarra From Thursday 27 May,Juniperlooza will explore a range of different botanicals with over 70 different gins on offer from local producers. What better way to wash away your winter blues than a gin sampling soiree along the river.
Spending his lockdown acquainting himself with an array of different gins, Juniperlooza operations manager Brendan Stegmann is itching to get Melburnians up to speed on the advancements and new additions to the Gin world. “We spent a lot of time experimenting with gin over the last year and were delighted by how well certain teas and the botanicals in gin worked together,” said Brendan.
There’ll be two-hour gin high-tea sessions, bottomless gin-themed wine and sparkling, and speciality cocktails including the Alchemy chamomile gin with pineapple, lemon and a dash of StrangeLove Soda. All housed in an enclosed plant-filled and fairy light laden outdoor setting by the Pilgrim Bar crew, Juniperlooza will let you enjoy the scenes regardless of the frosty weather.
The Juniperlooza sessions will be $65 per person and will be running from Thursday to Sunday from midday. For more info, click here.
