K-Pop Powerhouse Applewood Debuts 안녕, Melbourne In March 2026
Crack your glow sticks, Melbourne—안녕, MELBOURNE's massive K-pop fest hits Flemington March 14. A brand-new K-pop festival, 안녕, MELBOURNE (“Hello Melbourne”), has just been announced, and it’s landing at Flemington Racecourse on Friday, March 14.
If you’ve ever dreamed of chanting fan slogans, perfecting your choreo mid-mosh or witnessing your K-bias in the flesh—go ahead and block the date in your calendar right now.
Behind the glittering curtain is none other than APPLEWOOD, Asia’s powerhouse concert promoter known for working with global icons like BLACKPINK, SEVENTEEN, ENHYPEN, LE SSERAFIM, BAEKHYUN, GFRIEND and G-DRAGON. Yep, the same team that orchestrated BLACKPINK’s sold-out Bangkok tour and the Golden Disc Awards—basically the GRAMMYs of Korea.
This will be their first-ever Australian production, and judging by their track record, we can expect a full-scale visual feast that’ll probably have its own lighting budget equivalent to a suburb’s Christmas display.
Teaming up with Melbourne’s own Untitled Group (the brains behind Beyond The Valley and Wildlands), 안녕, MELBOURNE promises to fuse Seoul-grade stage production with that distinctly Aussie festival edge—with glitter, food stalls and enough outfit inspo to fill your Pinterest board.
While the official lineup drops Friday, 12 December at 12pm AEDT, speculation is already spiralling faster than a TikTok dance challenge. Given APPLEWOOD’s god-tier connections, fans are manifesting a serious superstar roster (and honestly, with these promoters, we like those odds).
Founded back in 2013, APPLEWOOD has pulled off more than 120 major shows across 18 countries—from Thailand to Taiwan—attracting over 750,000 fans along the way. Their decision to expand down under with Untitled marks a huge step for Asia-Pacific pop culture, proving Australia’s festival scene is more than ready for a Hallyu wave of its own.
So, mark the date, prep your fan chants, and maybe start saving for that official lightstick—Hello Melbourne is shaping up to be the wildest K-pop celebration this side of Seoul.
안녕 never sounded so good.
Keep an eye out for lineup reveals and ticket drops—more 안녕, MELBOURNE deets incoming soon!
