Melbourne’s Martini Game Just Got Seriously Elevated With These Specialty Menus

If a spritz is summer's sun-soaked sip, winter calls for something a little drier—refined, classic and best enjoyed in a dimly lit bar. Shaken or stirred?

We’re calling it, the martini is the drink of winter. And if anyone needs a warming tipple to get them through a dark and stormy season, it’s Melburnians. Luckily for us, Grey Goose is taking over two top-notch spots for martini month, with Pincho Disco and Cinder shaking things up with specialty vodka martinis from 19 June until the end of July.

Each venue is pouring signature spins on the classic using Grey Goose vodka, and serving up the snacks to match—we're talking premium caviar bumps served with an icy shot of Grey Goose Altius, the new prestige vodka designed for slow and deliberate sipping.

Pincho Disco’s Twists On The Classics

A bold Latin-American joint mixing bold flavours, Pincho Disco’s Martini Month menu includes three bespoke sips.

The Mexican Martini is a Latin-inspired twist on the classic, combining Grey Goose vodka with spiced vermouth and a hint of chilli oil. It’s a warming tipple fit for even the iciest Melbourne winter nights. If you're partial to a snack on the side, pair it with the pickled mussel tostada with avo cream and rocoto—a spicy, vinegary flavour bomb that matches the energy of the fiery cocktail.

For fans of brine, the Smoked Dirty Martini might be more your speed. Combining vodka with rosemary-smoked olives, it’s an elevated version of the old reliable. Try it with Pincho’s octopus tentacle with potato, olive cream and salsa verde to satisfy your salty cravings.

If a dry martini is your go-to, the Classic Grey Goose Martini is a refined vodka martini with French champagne vermouth and a lemon twist. Order this one with the snapper ceviche, served with passionfruit and orange tiger’s milk.

Cinder’s Creative Martini Mixes

Usually all about flames and fire, Cinder is keeping things fresh with five specialty martinis.

The Mediterranean is a zesty sip with a floral finish, paired perfectly with the fresh flavours of oyster topped with pickled shallot, green apple and cucumber granita. While we’re on the citrus train, the Porn Star Martini (a classic in its own right) mixes lime with passionfruit and prosecco for a sparkling, sweet twist. Order this one with the flame-grilled calamari with charred green onion, preserved lemon and Osaka dressing.

For the savoury sippers, the Marbled Martini is a mix of wagyu washed Grey Goose vodka, Lillet Blanc and olive brine, with a puffed beef tendon to finish. It's a unique offering with a buttery finish—best enjoyed with a side of Wagyu short rib with onion, truffle and green peppercorn jus.

For French Martini fans, Cinder is also shaking their own version of the fruity classic, paired with Canadian scallop and Café de Paris butter.

The sweet tooths in the house should opt for the Flying Fox, a rich pour with notes of roasted coffee and caramel, perfect for wrapping up the night with a pistachio and white chocolate delice to match.
