Geelong Is Getting Its Very Own Moon Dog Wild West, With A Bucking Bull And Cowboy Shots
Saddle up, Geelong, you're getting your very own Moon Dog Wild West.
With five brew houses across Melbourne, including one existing Wild West venue in Footscray, Geelong is set to mark the brewery's first location outside of the city.
Promising "the most wild night out you've ever experienced", the team is yet to reveal many details about the 69 Yarra Street space (the former Geelong Hotel site), but they have confirmed—thankfully—there will be a buckin' bull, just like Footscray.
Aside from the bull, there'll be plenty to keep punters entertained, with live music, DJs, events and line dancing on the cards.
Menu details are also limited, but we know it'll be pub classics with Tex-Mex flair. If it's anything like Wild West Footscray, this could look like pulled pork tacos, chilli cheese fries and buffalo chicken ribs.
The drinks will, of course, cover Moon Dog favourites. Think beers on tap, fan-fave Fizzer Seltzers and boozy slusheez, plus a selection of cocktails, wine and shots (we hear cowboy and picklebacks will be on the table).
While there are no official details on when Moon Dog Wild West Geelong will officially open its doors, we'll keep you updated as more information comes out.
