Moonlight Cinema Is Coming In Hot With A Stacked Summer Season At The Royal Botanic Gardens

By

The good news keeps on coming. Moonlight Cinema has announced its Melbourne comeback date. Yep, Moonlight Cinema will return this summer for its 26th year, showing new and classic movies all summer long.

Melbourne's Royal Botanic Gardens will once again be home to the Moonlight Cinemas, and great care, of course, will be taken to make sure the events are COVID safe, with a range of sanitisation and wellbeing initiatives being taken.

Headlining opening night is Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, while several classics—like Die Hard and Dirty Dancing—will take to the screen across December. Leading up to Christmas, Moonlight Cinema is leaning into the theme with screenings of The Grinch, Elf and Love Actually.

Gold Grass will be back this season, supported by AAMI, with luxurious bean beds and great views of the screen. You’ll also be able to cool down with ice cream in the Connoisseur Lounge or treat yourself to an Espresso Martini in the fully-catered Platinum Experience presented by Tia Maria.
