Nobu Is Serving Up A Fancy Japanese High-Tea For Mother’s Day

By Rick Stephens

A Japanese-inspired high tea.

There’s no better way to treat someone than with any sort of Nobu experience. Pre-lockdown, you’d take the individual in question for an audacious dinner, while during lockdown, you could order in. And now, with Mother’s Day just around the corner, the Japanese fine-diner is offering up a high tea at home for the special day.

The items included in mum’s high tea of course have a Nobu nuance to them. Treat her with the likes of matcha scones with yuzu marmalade and nori butter, lobster rolls with mentaiko mayonnaise and spanner crab with creamy aji on a black sesame brioche.

Nobu’s stacked Mum’s Day high tea hamper for two comes in at $165, a price as bold as what’s being served itself. If you truly want to take it to the next level, you can add a bottle of Moët Chandon for an extra $65, which will surely catapult you to favourite child status if you’re not there already.

Nobu is delivering their Mother’s Day high tea hamper within 20km of their Crown locale. Click and collect is also available but you’ll need to place orders by 12pm on Friday 7 May.
