Pooches and Prosseco is back at the Ascot Lot on Saturday 27 February from 12pm to 10pm, so bring along your four-legged friends while you sip on some sparkling. The Story Wines and Zilzie Wines will be serving up Australia’s best prosecco, which you can enjoy in the Ascot Lot’s huge beer garden where there’s plenty of room for your pooch to play.
There will be a Puppy Mall stocked with heaps of contemporary pet products and services, as well as free health checks from 12pm to 5pm, courtesy of Vets on Call. And when your furry friend gets hungry from all the excitement, there are plenty of free Doggo treats for them to enjoy.
Doggo treats aren’t the only thing on the menu, there are plenty of human-friendly options as well. Crepes For Change will be serving up the sweets to help fight youth unemployment and homelessness, while Pearl of the Quarter and Take Mie Out will be cooking up a storm of delicious street food.
If you (or your pooch) is looking for a four-legged friend, the Ascot Lot is partnering with Second Chance Animal Rescue Inc., which means there will be plenty of pups available to adopt on the day.
And if you just can’t wait for Pooches and Prosecco, the Ascot Lot will be hosting Vegan Nights the week before. The 10-hour event will see food trucks Pearl of the Quarter, Wood Pizza 555, Take Mie Out and Crepes For Change serving vegan-friendly food while DJs play live sets all day and night long. There will be plenty of craft beers and cocktails on offer, and pooches are more than welcome.
More happening out in the ‘burbs, like this massive food precinct opening in the inner-west.
