The team who brought you the Peninsula Hot Springs are about to open a second location, this time, in East Gippsland’s Metung.

Their second locale within Victoria is set to match their OG venue with a myriad of pools to soak on, along with plans to open up a glamping village and relaxation spa further down the line.

The Metung Hot Springs were first announced several years ago, and thanks to several State and Federal government grants, and a partnership with local tourism operators in East Gippsland, keen bathers can expect to be soaking as early as second-summer this year.

Interestingly, Metung was home to the state’s first hot springs back in the early 90s. This time around, the reimagined soaker’s haven is set to open at King Cove’s golf estate—word is there’s even a plan for a 19th hole which doubles as a spring.
