Melbourne’s Largest Social Wellness Destination Is Set To Open In South Yarra
The Commons Health Club has officially unveiled plans to open a second location this month, and it's set to be Melbourne’s Largest Social Wellness Destination.
Following the success of their Richmond launch, the new location opening Saturday 28 March will make 189 Toorak Rd home, with the 5,000sqm space spanning eight levels (five more than the Richmond location).
Three levels will operate as designated work spaces, with the other five dedicated to the health club, all just a minute’s walk from South Yarra railway station.
Wellness facilities include science-backed health assessments and signature personal training programs, infrared saunas, 6°C cold plunge, 36°C and 39°C magnesium baths, heated stone benches, and traditional sauna and steam rooms.
Other amenities members can expect include a seasonal fragrance bar, Dyson and GHD styling stations, a wellness concierge and private laundry services (because who actually wants to do their laundry?).
Training and class options are set to be extensive, with more than 200 weekly classes across pilates, strength training, yoga, meditation, movement and spin, with weekly memberships starting at $79.
“We’re incredibly proud of this next chapter for The Commons,” says Co-founder and CEO of The Commons, Cliff Ho.
“The Health Club is an extension of our belief that people thrive when they feel connected, supported and energised. This space brings together movement, recovery and community in a way that supports every part of daily life and it’s been inspiring to see so many members already embracing it.”
The Commons have provided workplaces to Melburnians for almost a decade, with community and stability at the forefront of their mission, and intentions for the new instalment of their famed wellness club are no different.
