Keen to live life more sustainably without compromising on style and those experiences that make for a thrilling social life? Us too. Whether it’s an out-of-this-world date night or an ethereal sound experience, with the new Volvo EX30 you can get from A to B without costing the planet—and, you'll have a stellar experience while doing it. How, you ask?
A Slick SUV That Taps Into The Senses
Volvo’s new EX30 is a vehicle that's designed for sustainability and lifestyle, with gorgeous aesthetics, too. The new release—Volvo’s smallest SUV yet—is a fully electric vehicle that packs loads of style into a compact cutie topped off with sensory elements like a game-changing sound system, ambient interior illuminations, and helpful tech.
“If we truly believe in sustainability and being climate neutral, and we’ve got an opportunity to accelerate it, why wouldn’t we?” says Volvo Car Australia’s Managing Director Stephen Connor.
Here in Australia, Volvo has gone bold with its sustainability goals by aiming to be electric-only by 2026—four years sooner than the company’s global ambition.
Volvo’s commitment to sustainability is rooted in authenticity, with on-the-ground programs like coral planting in the Great Barrier Reef.
“When we talk about authenticity in sustainability, what we’re saying is: have an understanding of the impact you’re making,” says Stephen. “This car’s doing exactly that. We have an understanding of what we’re doing to the world, so we’re going to make it a cleaner place.”
Colourways Inspired By Scandi Landscapes
On top of its planet-friendly chops, the Volvo EX30 is one seriously good-looking number. Five contemporary colourways evoke the striking landscapes of Scandinavia (we love Moss Yellow), as do interior themes that utilise renewable and recycled materials like PET bottles and discarded fishing nets. Packed with 5G enabled, a high-performing audio system and fast recharging, the EX30 is ready to take you across the city to the hottest events or fuel your next road trip.
“If you’re starting to think about it and you’re starting to have those moral conversations about “maybe I need to change my lifestyle,” that’s all we ask you for. If we spark those conversations then we’ve done our job,” he says.
This stellar SUV is designed to tackle the senses through its considered design, so we've rounded up three multisensorial experiences across the country to visit this month.
