The verdict
3 Ravens Brewery in Thornbury produces some of the most delicious craft beer in Melbourne with a focus on rich flavours and small batch beers. Hidden a few hundred metres from the Darebin Creek Trail, the beer lovers' hot-spot is now also home to a bar where fans can sip on the latest brews at a large communal table and bar area. With a warehouse speakeasy vibe and the brewery itself tucked behind the bar area, you can be guaranteed an extra-fresh pint, as well as picking up something to go. We hear they are also installing a coffee roaster, making for some tasty locally roasted beans as well as a coffee porter, we hope!
Our top tip? They do a mean English bitter that packs a lip-smacking punch, and it doesn't get fresher than from the source. Check out 3 Ravens when you're next in need of something new and locally crafted to sip.
