The verdict
Hidden amongst the buildings of Little Latrobe Street, A Little Bird Told Me is a hangout for the local RMIT students and corporates alike. The lovechild of one of Melbourne's coffee elite – Caleb Heaney (Brother Baba Budan, Seven Seeds) – the cafe brews up a Seven Seeds house blend as well as a variety of single origins. The decor is simple, with wooden benches and wide people-watching windows, making for a seamless coffee drinking experience. The perfect place to bring your MacBook, grab a cake from the one and only Matt Forbes, and do some cramming before your 3pm tute.
