The verdict
After the Tears in Elsternwick is the perfect place for a pre or post movie drink and nibble, conveniently located next door to the Classic Theatre on Gordon Street. Walking in to this charming Polish restaurant is like walking not only into another country, but another era too. With a charming fireplace and candlelit atmosphere, you'll show up for the drinks (and why wouldn't you with such a ridiculously extensive vodka list), and stay for some scrumptious nibbles too. Our pick? The Lychee Martini is spot on, with ginger vodka, lemon vodka, lychee syrup and lemon and elderflower. Polish off some pierogi for a truly authentic experience.
