The Verdict

You may have heard of a little winery on the Mornington Penisula named Ten Minutes by Tractor—it’s two-hatted and has some of the chicest fine dining you can find in Victoria. Well, the team behind it is elevating the bar for sustainability with the unveiling of their latest dining venture, Allis.

Nestled within the Ten Minutes by Tractor cellar door, you’ll find the all-new wine bar, with a much more laid-back and intimate ambience. Its focal point is a meticulously curated wine list, featuring rare back vintages and wines from producers worldwide.

Along with the wine selection, Allis touts a sustainable food menu, with some of the produce even coming from Ten Minutes by Tractor regenerative farm. Menu offerings include a braised O’Connor short rib crumpet with potato mash, Fraser Island spanner crab roll, charred kangaroo carpaccio, and a baked Camembert served with garlic, honey, and rosemary.

Allis' concept ties in with its paired menu, designed to amplify the winery's low-waste food philosophy. You can savour the à la carte offerings or embark on a wine journey with specially curated wine flights, complemented by snacks tailored to each wine's unique characteristics.

"Driven by a passion for growth and evolution, Allis represents our continued journey towards sustainability. We strive to blend exceptional wine and culinary delights, crafting an unforgettable experience for our cherished guests, one that leaves them enlightened and delighted," says Martin Spedding, owner of Ten Minutes by Tractor.
