The Verdict
Coming off of the successful SugarBun chain across Asia, Auntry Franklee is bringing south-eastern soul to the heart of Melbourne. Serving up classic Malaysian cuisine are twins Fran and Fiorn Lee, whose new venture aims to explore the famous family recipes served since 1979. Aunty Franklee focuses on the authentic Bak-Kut-Teh, a soupy, meaty bowl of goodness, as well as melt-in-your-mouth char grill, and moorish, smoky clay-pot creations. Be the first to try the traditional flavours in a fresh, new fit-out this spring.
